Leafpool was supposed to follow her heart ... and she did. But this time, things take a twisted turn. Instead of choosing her Clan, Leafpool decides to run away with Crowfeather. Now ThunderClan is in ruins, trying to find a way to replace their medicine cat without any training. Meanwhile, many cats suffer from injuries from the badger attack.
Brightheart has taken over the basic duties, for now, but everyone knows they need a real medicine cat - somebody who has been trained by the ways of peace and harmony.
For now, the other Clans are gleefully taking advantage of this terrible blow to ThunderClan, and have slowly started taking over some of their land. Even RiverClan has managed to set up a mini camp there.
Will Leafpool eventually manage to realize that her Clan is more important, or will ThunderClan slowly die away?
